It was a great night!
It was the premiere the movie "On Broadway." I was lucky enough to snag tickets. I met Will and we briefly chatted; he is the greatest guy ever. Totally nice, charming and of course....hilarious! (You didn't think I was gonna say 'hot,' did you? Which needless to say, he was!)
He was very tanned, and looked amazing.
A very gracious and humble guy. He instantly became a favorite of mine.

Oh, so this interview, the OurStage interview, was it conducted at the theater you were at? And, wow, that was really recent! Do most actors go to the official premiere of their films? I have no idea about these things. On Broadway premiered in... June? I haven't seen it. IMDB doesn't have too much information on it, I'm guessing because it is an independent film (?), and since it is an independent film, I'm assuming it wasn't widely released in theaters. It probably showed a lot in Boston because the film was set in Boston and filmed in Boston. Where did you see it? Was Amy there, too? She was in the film, also, with a minor role... What did you and Will talk about? I would have been very star struck if I met Will. It would feel so surreal to me, actually seeing the 3D person in full flesh as opposed to on a 2D computer or television screen.
I can't wait to hear more.

The room that Will was being interviewed in was upstairs at the theater. It was in the director's lounge. On Broadway premiered at the Independent Film Festival in Boston on April 26th. It showed that Thursday night and then again on Sunday, the last day of the festival. After the movie, the cast and director did a brief Q & A on the stage, and Will was very funny. In fact, I'd say his brief parts in the movie garnered the most laughs in the movie. It wasn't a comedic movie, but it used some humor to lighten up the somewhat heavy subject material (coping with a death in the family). Amy was not there. But Joey McIntyre from New Kids on the Block was. It was so funny to have someone that I adored as a pre-teen and someone I adore as an adult in the same building! I talked to Will briefly and told him how much I admired his work, and he graciously posed for the obligatory photo. The most down to earth guy, honestly. It seems he has a lot of respect for his fans, which is refreshing these days. About On Broadway- you're right it is an independent film. As far as I know, they are still shopping it around for a distributor. It played at a few other festivals (Hoboken, NJ for example). It was filmed in Boston, written by a Boston based playwright and a few of it's actors were also from Beantown. That is why it premiered in Boston at the festival, and why it was such a big deal (with the cast and director being there). Will has a really small part (Amy an even smaller part).
